Crystallized nature

The inspiration starts from the attempt to suggest the idea of a degradation of nature, its degradation and progressive mineralization, either in the few wedges that remain in the city, or in the larger extra-urban spaces, also devastated by cement.

Against a backdrop that in the mix of colors recalls oil, the floor is covered with a tar dust where mineral flowers emerge. They are made with flexible brass stems, while the petals and the corolla derive from plastic bottles that have been deformed and redesigned after a heat treatment of the flame.
The whole gives rise to a cold and hard, but also brilliant image, which becomes the set of an anonymous and heatless humanity symbolized by mannequins with an abstract and unrecognizable face.
